1. My car was side-swiped while parked necessitating a replacement of the door handle and repair of window track. 2. 30 year old Maytag died after the last spin cycle. The extruder stopped working. New washing machines sucks. Have to buy one today. 3. Battery died on third car and had to replace it.
The good news: We have a red fox living in and around our yard. Spotted him around the past three days. So pretty! Only see him at dusk, and very early in the morning. This morning he had something in his mouth.

OT: I was taking my doggo out for a walk about a month ago and saw a red fox up on the top of the rock line. Actually, doggo saw it first. And what was interesting is that there was just a stare down. No one flinched or moved, they just watched each other, and I just enjoyed the beauty of this broad white chest. Bee-yoo-tee-full.

They're pretty harmless and won't bother a cat or dog unless attacked - even then, they'll run away. I think this one is a male because he's pretty big.

My dog just stopped in his tracks and stared up at the rock cliff. This was right in my back yard. At first, all I saw was this white shield, like the magical Pintos have that are reserved for the Native American Chiefs. They're considered magical protection and sacred. That's all I saw, this white "shield." As my eyes focused I saw the rest of the fox, the ears twitching, my dog's ears twitching, and they just stared at each other. It was sweet and mesmerizing.

Our dog likes to sit in the front garden at nighttime and there’s a fox from across the road that likes to sit in the street and watch him have a meltdown. We always keep the gate closed otherwise the dumb mutt would charge out after the fox.

New washing machines suck? You'll be using about half the energy and ¼ the water of that old clunker. Be glad it's dead

I've never had any issue. The dryer sometimes needs to run twice but everything cleans fine. The oven is a different story but I think that's just a generic Samsung problem rather than a "They don't make them like they used to" thing.

I first heard the "comes in threes" idea shortly after Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, and Jim Morrison died within a short period of one another. Actually, Morrison died well after the other two, but the myth believers didn't care.
