I don’t think TRoS was ever advertised as the last Star Wars movie. It was merely advertised as the end of the “Skywalker Saga.” In other words, it’s supposedly the last numbered film.

Didn't the ending of The Lost World basically say that we're supposed to live with the dinosaurs by standing aside and letting them live peacefully without interference?

But the "co-existing" comment does make it sound like Alan Grant and a dilophosaurus driving around the deep south eating fried chicken and learning to respect each other.

At this point I just want a mini series more faithfull to the first book but with the dinosaur design updated to make them more realistic.
I'm pretty much in the camp that only the first two movies are worth rewatching and I doubt that the third Jurassic World will be any good.
