I tried searching the boards for discussions about this... and I couldn't find any... Seriously? NO ONE is talking about this? WHY THE HELL NOT?Well, anyway, here's an update: This story reminds me of the ' biographical disaster-survival drama' FILM: "The 33" (2015). which is based on the real events of the 2010 Copiap Mining Disaster, in which a group of thirty-three miners were trapped inside the San José Mine in Chile for 69 days.

Hundreds of meters underground for 2 weeks sounds horrific. Hope they all get out okay.

Sad to hear, but at least they were "found"... In some of these mine accidents, some of these miners go missing... to either be buried under the collapse, or entombed in cavities, hundreds of feet below the surface... and no one ever knows of their exact fate, and if they even could have been rescued or not. I remember one, here in the USA, about 10-15 years ago, where they tried to find the missing miners by drilling a few shafts and searching for them with cameras, and found nothing... They gave up... After learning about the "33" story... If makes one wonder, What if, they had drilled just one more shaft?... Sure, you can't drill search holes forever, but, did they give up too soon?
