I knew a Brony. I worked with one for several years. He had My Little Pony toys all over his desk. He wore his Broniness like a badge of honor. He was loud and proud. Nice guy.

I played with the toys as a little kid. And have the 1986 movie on dvd out of nostalgia. But aside from that I don't collect anything and am not a hard-core fan.
I've never watched the newer series. They look like weird anime characters to me.

Bronies are grown adult men who are obsessed with a toy line/cartoon series specifically made for little girl children.

My second son was a Brony for a few years, I think he grew out of it when he was 18. That’s when I remember him taking the posters down and getting rid of the toys.
