I loved Cloris Leachman. One of my all-time favorites, she could do it all.
94 is a nice, long life. So that's something to offer a bit of comfort for loved ones and fans who are feeling sad.

Is it just me or does it seem like a lot of people are starting off 2021 dead?

Wonderful actress, I loved her work with Mel Brooks, as Grandma Ida in Malcolm in the Middle and of course her peerless Ruth Popper in The Last Picture Show, one of the most deserving Supporting Actress Oscar winners ever. R.I.P.

She racked up 287 film and tv credits since her first as a dancer (uncredited) in Carnegie Hall (1947).
Makes me want to go back and re-visit a lot of movies I haven't seen in years and check Youtube for early tv appearances, just to see if I can spot her.
According to the IMDb, Kiss Me Deadly (which I own) was her first credited role in a feature; she was the murder victim at the beginning of the movie.
R.I.P, for a great actress.

Great with comedy, and her deserved Oscar win in a dramatic turn really proved how versatile and talented she was.
