Because Biden doesn't have a cult following that hangs on to his every word. True, because Biden has absolutely no charisma. That's the whole reason people voted for him in the first place. Get the most boring possible generic democrat whose biggest accomplishment in life was working for Obama, who only picked him because he needed a generic boring VP. It's a welcome change after the last 4 years.

It's a welcome change after the last 4 years. I'm a Democrat. But it's really a class divide. And then there are impoverished white hillbillies who foolishly vote against their economic interests because they think Republicans are more "Christian".
During any time of peril, like the current pandemic and economic lockdowns, the Democrat is favored because people run to the Nanny State. But Biden's age and the BLM race riots worked against him. He should have won by 2 to 1. Trump polled stronger than he should have.
Biden was a very weak candidate.

Don't underestimate the power of voter suppression. Between removing polling places in urban areas, limiting early voting, voter ID laws, restrictions on mail voting, the intentional postal sabotage, and probably a handful of other things it really adds up. Just look at what Florida did to keep felons from voting even after a ballot initiative said they had to get their rights restored. And then there's other ways to keep the turnout low like the ridiculous gerrymandering. Once you live in a district where you're not at all represented you're a lot less likely to vote in any elections.

At work, there's a greater influx of young people being more, what's called "gender fluid" and accepting.

That was at the core of Trump's claims of voter fraud.
I have mixed opinions on absentee ballots. I know it gives the bourgeois Republicans an edge to require an in-person vote on election day. But I like the fact that people who really care about issues are forced to get up off their ass and vote. I think most mail-in voters don't understand the issues and don't really give enough of a rat's ass to get up off their couch.
I prefer a low turnout of informed enthusiastic voters over a high turnout of uninformed people who can't be bothered to drive to a polling place.

From my couch I can actually take time to read the voter guides with the ballot in front of me. That's a lot harder to do it a booth. And anyway the more obstacles you throw up the more it's going to be skewed towards 80 year old retirees with nothing better to do and all the flexibility in the world, or people with enough money to get around the inconveniences. Aka the people who don't have any incentive to make things ever change.

You probably still don't as I doubt that that list is exhaustive.

It's really not that much of a bother. I know showing up in person skews the vote towards older retirees. And that's a shame.
I work and I have a busy life. But it only takes 30 minutes or less every two or four years to vote in person. It's just never been an issue for me because I love politics. Young people who are informed and follow the issues have no problem showing up. It's only dullards who can't get away from their tv for a few minutes who can't vote in person.
*But of course, this year with covid, I don't blame anybody for not voting in person.

I like an individual person or I don't. I have no idea what a letter means after lgbt. Two spirited? Q9? wtf? If you have to explain today's alphabet to me, and why you I offended yourself? I don't have that time to spend.
*says the guy posting on a message board, during a pandemic.
