I think Suspect is rather meh, but I quite liked Cher’s role in it. I preferred her here than in Witches Of Eastwick from the same year. She also did Moonstruck too and won an undeserved Oscar. At any rate, she was one busy lady 1987. Witches of Eastwick is a great movie though, a forgotten gem IMO. I think all 4 leads were great and had fun with the roles. Michelle Pfeiffer was especially radiant and perfect as Suki. I watched it again recently and felt there was a little something missing from it. It is enjoyable enough, but it also comes across as a bit flat as well in parts I find. It seemed like an unusual film for Miller to do.
