Merging the beer, wine, etc threads together.
I've rattled through a box of Thatchers for lunch. Just cracked open a bottle of Malibu that a neighbour gave me for Christmas.
Not sure what to make of it. It's not really nice, but it's not vile either. May be better as a long drink. The bottle recommends fruit juice or cola.

I definitely can't keep up with you. I won't be drinking at lunch, and really more than once or twice a month is a lot for me.
But I think I'm finally gonna watch Mank tonight, and as I understand it there's a lot of booze in that movie. I think he was a whiskey man, as am I, so whether that be bourbon or Scotch, I'll try to have what he's having.

Never tasted Malibu AFAIK. Bet it’s not as good as Bailey’s.

Cider is water in Bristol. It's not considered alcohol here. It's the all day drink. |

Got a bottle of Maker’s Mark for Xmas but haven’t started it yet.
My brother had loads of bottle of spirits, many unopened, when he died so I’ll have to work my way through them. Mostly gin, which I like, and brandy, not so much.
