Great news, thanks for sharing. I really like Scott Derrickson's supernatural horrors 'The Exorcism Of Emily Rose' (2005) and 'Sinister' (2012).

Nice. I don't know anything about the story it's based on but it's got some good people involved.
Ethan Hawke has an interesting slate coming up.
Can't wait for The Northman

It doesn't say when it was supposed to be coming out before this delay (which is just bad reporting), but a summer release actually seems to suggest they have confidence in it. That could be better. As an aside, Tom Savini made the masks for Ethan Hawke's character. So that's kinda cool.

Seems super creepy... like "Sinister" levels. Looks good.

I am in no sense a horror fan, but I have enjoyed Blumhouse movies. And I like Ethan Hawke, so I'm in.

Hawke is interested in a sequel only if Scott Derrickson remained the director.

I guess that's kind of a spoiler for those of us that aren't familiar with the Joe Hill story.

Ethan Hawke was pretty effective. The child actors less so. Felt like a Stephen King story. I thought it was okay overall but not great. As far as a sequel goes, that'd be strange considering what happens to Ethan's neck.
