I had the first 6 Star Wars movies and the first two Raimi Spider-Man movies. I sold them and got the widescreen versions only a few weeks ago. The only full screen movie I have left now is 8 Mile, but I don't think I'll get rid of that one, if only to have one fullscreen dvd and since that one doesn't have a lot of cgi/special effects anyway.

Some animated films I own are full screen only, the price of being the animation princess I’m afraid.

I have exactly one. The Leslie Nielsen spoof movie Wrongfully Accused, shoehorned onto the Naked Gun trilogy DVD set. For whatever reason, the packaging has the Warner Bros logo.

Yep. Haven't given some of them up yet though. Selling old-school DVDs for only a few dollars isn't worth it when wanting remastered versions can be pricey when you can't plan properly. Some notable ones that I own:
Shrek Last Action Hero Ghost Ship Harry Potter 1-3 X2 Scream 1-3

Yeah I have a few. I actually preferred fullscreen back when I was a teenager, which I realize now was incredibly dumb.

The DVD of Die Hard included an extra explaining the importance of watching a movie in its original aspect ratio.

Yes, I think a good number of b-movies I could only obtain through purchasing cheap double-sided discs, or cheap box-sets with low-grade transfers, would qualify as being full screen.

Yes.
Some are those double-sided ones with full screen on one side and widescreen on the other. Some are those that have only been released in full screen. Some are cheapo ones that seem to have used VHS copies as sources.

Remember when movies came with the full screen disc and widescreen disc? Pretty soon we'll be asking if anyone remembers when they sold movies on disc with a free digital copy.

Yes. Some are those double-sided ones with full screen on one side and widescreen on the other. A lot of MGM DVDs are like this.

I had one. I think it was of Dr. Strangelove but I gave it away after finding out after I'd tried to watch it.

Full Metal Jacket and The Shining used to have fullscreen DVD's if I'm not mistaken.

Yes. Several. Full-screen does not bother me all that much.

My edition of Reservoir Dogs has both. I don't watch the full screen version.

I believe the only full screen DVD I own is the 1984 movie Flashpoint.

I usually own full screen ones i prefer that. But I can only watch films that are simple. So then i can understand them.
