Only if a flipper, not really useful unless open matte , sometimes you see more nudity that was cropped for wide-screen

I've got several of those cheapskate "50 Classics" boxed sets which are mostly padded with terrible quality, full screen prints of public domain titles, so I have quite a few, yes.

Yeah I have a few. I actually preferred fullscreen back when I was a teenager, which I realize now was incredibly dumb. Same here. It was before I got better TVs.

Yes. Some include both full screen and widescreen options, but most are movies that are only available in full screen.

My wife (at the time girlfriend) bought several films on full screen DVD because her TV obviously was 4:3 (in those days). I think we still have 8 Mile and a couple of others that I didn't care about watching again still in that format. I used to give her a hard time about buying full screen DVD's but she hated the black bars on widescreen DVD's. Like others I have some of those Mill Creek or other bargain basement titles that are public domain that are rips from old VHS tapes (especially the Italian sword and sandal films). Unfortunately that's the only way to own some of those titles. Hopefully that'll change one of these days.

Do films shot in the 4:3 ratio count because I do have a lot of old films in my collection.

Yes, I have still have several Full Screen DVDs from when I started purchasing DVDs twenty years ago... Most of those are from "OK" films that I only watch every once in a while, and I don't care to spend any more money on them to upgrade...
The rest are mostly older media that were originally filmed in Full Screen or are older TV Shows...
The only ones that I wish were in 16x9 Widescreen, that are not, are the Theatrical Versions of the original Star Wars trilogy films. Those are in that stupid Letterbox Full Screen format. It sucks having a big black border around the films, while watching them...

Only if a flipper, not really useful unless open matte , sometimes you see more nudity that was c ropped for wide-screen Yeah. That format sucks, and is confusing... The "Back To The Future" trilogy was filmed that way. The films were cropped for Widescreen presentations in theaters... This actually caused problems when the films were first released on DVD. Parts II and III were mis-framed when released on DVD. I had to send away for replacement discs to get the films correctly framed... I sill have the Full Frame box release, The corrected replacement widescreen box release, the individual films release of the widescreen versions, and now I have them in widescreen in the Blu-Ray format released in 2015. I have one DVD, "The Manhattan Project" (1986), comes as a flipper disc with both formats... it's an oddball release. Neither format is "Full". I screen-capped the same scene in both and overlayed them, and discovered that the four corners were missing... So it's a toss up, on which one to watch.
