I'm kind of surprised at the reactions comparing it to Se7en which I didn't expect from the trailer. Granted, I still need to see Se7en.

I thought it was pretty good. Good performances by all 3. Leto was a little silly but I liked him too. Definitely some strong reminders of seven, but it pretty different movie in the end. One thing I missed.. why did his former colleagues seem to not like him after he comes back? Not sure they explained that.

But it was an accident and then he almost drank himself to death afterwards. I thought cops had each other's back on this sorta thing.

hi224 apparently Steven friggin Spielberg was attached to direct at one point. I would kind of like him to do a serial killer movie.
