After 1/2 hour, it was still too limp for me. So, I cranked the heat up to 300 for a few more minutes. I didn't see a great difference from stove top.
One thing I'll try next time is putting the slices on a rack, rather than flat on the pan.
Yeah, half an hour seems way too long to cook bacon. That seems like it'd be a waste of electricity, too. Although I haven't timed it, I'm guessing my frying pan method, on about medium heat, only takes about 10-12 minutes, maybe less.
