I like them pretty much equally and both make my lead actor lineup. Maybe give the slight edge to Lindo.

Neither film was particularly memorable but Ma Rainey had its virtues, and Boseman’s charismatic performance was one of them.

Delroy Lindo is very good, but Chadwick Boseman is masterful.
My favorite lead male performance of the year is between Gary Oldman and Chadwick Boseman.
