Get it to Bristol quicktime then... We've got an outbreak of a new covid mutation that's more transmissible, and showing signs of being more deadly.
They should lock the city down completely now, but they won't. Just 'advised' us not to leave our houses unless absolutely essential.
We're being advised not to go out for exercise, and not to go to shops. Get deliveries, or use what you have in your cupboards. Well I've got to take one of my dogs to a vets appointment today, and I'm out of cider, so that ain't gonna happen 🙄
A plan is allegedly being worked out on how to attempt to contain and stop the spread of the Bristol variant... Too fecking late already, every day it's now in the community. We've been living with covid for nigh on a year now. Shouldn't plans to contain outbreaks of mutations in cities be in place ready to enact as soon as a mutation appears 🤷♀️
Transport links in and out of the city, including flights, still running. Happy days.

Off to Hospital to get first Pfizer today. Wish it was a different location. Two masks today I think.

Off to Hospital to get first Pfizer today. Wish it was a different location. Two masks today I think. My old man and step mum had their first jabs in January. They've to wait until April for their boosters. A concourse at Bristol City's Ashton Gate Stadium is Bristol's primary vaccination centre. Some Rovers supporters are refusing to get their jabs there on principle. |

Some Rovers supporters are refusing to get their jabs there on principle. Had my first now, the Hospital was so so busy and the nurse said that loads of people are not turning up even after making appointments which pisses them off as a waste of capacity. Managed to book one for my wife at a local centre on Saturday which is annoying as they say we could have had them together there without going to hospital. I even got a card and a sticker. Now....open the fucking pubs!

I am booked in for my 2nd jab in 7 weks, but the nurse said I may get a call to extend it to 12 weeks depending on supply and ever changing government instructions. This is the Pfizer one.
