Philly fans turn on everyone I honestly don’t see the appeal in playing for any of their franchises It’s like why bother going there if all anyone is going to do is hurl beer bottles at you if you do something as common as turning the ball over? I think the 49ers should trade for Wenzty and the Cavs should trade for Simmons — just imagine Ben Simmons on this Cavs team They’d win not one, not two, not three, but zero championships with him since he refuses to develop better shooting mechanics Oh and you guys really got screwed with Harper — dude was hardly worth that contract but because he had a fantastic 2015 season he was apparently worth all that money just so the Phils could flirt with .500 for the last couple seasons What are you offering for Simmons?

Harper had the most RBIs in his career in a Phils uniform
Draws a lot of walks and get on base
I get his batting average in 2015 and 2017 - we probably shouldn't be expecting that - he's hit .260 and .268 here - would like to see him raise it to like .285

No they definitely did He signed a massive albatross of a contract and hasn’t really produced on field — the team should’ve used the money to bolster their pitching rotation Honestly the dude’s a hack and just hasn’t been the same since 2015 — when he won the MVP — I honestly wish the Phils traded to get Arenado or Votto Honestly Joey Votto would’ve been great on the roster and at first — and he’d fit right in with Philly fans — what’s not to love about the guy being in Philly? |

Votto is hated in Philly and over the last 2 seasons, Votto has been nowhere near as good as Harper.
Where in these numbers does it make you believe Votto would be better for the Phillies than Harper?

Look here son. The guy definitely is a hack who has consistently failed to live up to his 2015 campaign He’s not worth the amount of money the Phils are paying him — even if his per year salary isn’t on the same level as Machady, Trouty, or Colesy I would’ve rather had a second Odubelly Herrera than a single Harpsy And yes Votto — he’s a great first baseman and probably the greatest first baseman since Eddie Murray — and the Phils would’ve definitely won a World Series or two if they traded for him instead of signing an overrated turd who only has one good offensive season under his belt I hope they trade him soon because every time I go to a Phils game and see him in right field I want to hurl my beer can and a hot dog at his head |
