Rollerball was such a dumb remake. Apparently the original idea for the remake had the same idea as the original, but the studio wanted a sport Murder mystery movie.
What was wrong with Crocodile hunter: collision course? I thought it was a really fun movie.

Rollerball was such a dumb remake. Apparently the original idea for the remake had the same idea as the original, but the studio wanted a sport Murder mystery movie. According to the imdb trivia section they had a great script, but director McTiernan insisited on dumbing it down, because he thought audiences wanted to see a mindless action movie.

Mctiernan wanted it dumbed down? Geez that was stupid of him.

Jason X - Like a softcore porn movie. Also very silly and not scary at all.
Darkness - Some good atmosphere, but disappointing plot.
Ballistic - I think I fell asleep watching this
The Truth About Charlie - As a remake it's a travesty, but even if you ignore the original, it's just a dull film.
I have vague memories of Scooby Doo, but I never got the appeal of that franchise. It just wasn't for me.

I like Sonny, The Crocodile Hunter: Collision Course, The Master of Disguise and Scooby-Doo.
Sonny is an interesting one with Cage as director. A decent character driven movie.
Dana Carvey is hilarious in The Master of Disguise.

About 8-9 of them. Feel I have wasted enough time on pretty much every single one, so I will not bother to go back, search for each title and see what I ended up rating them with. But most surely, none ended up above a 4/10, but I still think I have seen way worse titles than any of them, coming out of that year.
Well, I kind of wanted to just check up on my Letterboxd account, on how bad that year really was, or at least from what I have sadly seen of some truly god awful turds of 2002. And it does not look very "good", that I can say.
Torture is more the right way of trying to describe some of these absolute stinkers. Not only were they horrible, but time stood still, and bad movies that also are extremely boring and slow going, are really the worst of the worst. Nothing to laugh at, no hot babes who suddenly drops all of their clothes, just a big bunch of nothing at all, beside the fact the every second feels like a small eternity of a lifetime, before you get throug the first 10 minutes, and then knowing you still have maybe 80-90 minutes left, damn:
1/10 Terror Toons When Heaven Comes Down Serial Killer A Candle in the Dark 2/10 Life Without Dick Home Alone 4 Hell’s Highway American Psycho II: All American Girl 3/10 Frank McKlusky C.I. Second to Die
These are among the 10 worst films that I have sadly wasted time and money on, and would most likely, "happily" had them switching places with pretty much every single one of the films in the original post, of the worst of the worst 2002.

The Crocodile Hunter: Collision Course - 5/10 Boat Trip - 5/10 FearDotCom - 5/10 Half Past Dead - 5/10 Scooby-Doo - 4/10 Hard Cash - 4/10 Ballistic: Ecks vs. Sever - 4/10
Well, it did not end up as badly as I first supposedly though of, when looking at the list of OPs worst of the worst from 2002. I actually kind of enjoyed some of The Crocodile Hunter and Boat Trip, and none turned out to end up below a 4/10, which was a bit of a "pleasant" surrpise. Still, I have none in my movie collection any longer, but still no way near of coming any close to what I would consider to be among the absolute worst of that year.

Dana Carvey is hilarious in The Master of Disguise. Sonny is nearly unwatchable for me. Embarrassing and extremely tedious amateur effort from Cage.

Four. The Truth about Charlie is pretty bad. But I didn’t think that The Croc Hunter ain’t that bad. Scooby-Doo is stupid but it’s not as god-fucking-awful as The Master of Disguise. This is my most hated movie. There’s probably technically worse films that I saw over the years, but it’s this one that annoyed me the most. Fucking atrocious.

Scooby-Doo is the only one I’ve seen. I didn’t think it was terrible, just mediocre.
