It's at least an interesting conversation. That's why this upcoming matchup is so important. Brady wins, he's at 7 and his record is probably out of reach. Mahomes wins and he's 2-0 for titles in three seasons as a starter (Brady accomplished the same in the 2003 season).

By the way, the article makes an erroneous claim.
Brady didn't accomplish a back-to-back within his first three seasons as a starter. He won in his first season, then missed the playoffs entirely the next year. He then won the next two seasons. It's accurate to say he led his team to back-to-back Super Bowl wins within his first four seasons as a starter - but Mahomes would be the first to do it within his first three.

I've been thinking about this week, this match-up is like a 4 point NHL game - where one team is ahead 2 points, the game will either swing them tied in the standings or the leading team will emerge up 4 points. Either way, the result is a 4 point window or not.
I think Mahomes is currently ahead of Brady in the now, up 2 points, & he needs to defeat Brady to get ahead 4 points & pave the rest of his decade with that momentum.
Brady can with yet another SB title drag Mahomes back to his level, Brady won't ever really have to win again even if Mahomes gets 5-7 titles because Brady will have defeated him in their SB war on the battlefield.
I still think both QB's play great on Sunday, but I see the Bucs dropping more catches (if not outright fumbles) because tighter nerves from those guys. If the Bucs are to prevail, I truly think their D will have to be the outright difference - if we start seeing Mahomes with some stunned looks on his face, the Bucs can have him. Since I don't see that happening, I'm still picking the Chiefs.

It doesn't just sound hyperbolic, it most definitely IS hyperbolic.

He probably hates Brady as much as the rest of us. I'm not shocked he doesn't want to be like a poor sport.

This kind of talk is way too premature. Football is still a team sport and it's very likely he won't so much as sniff the kind of success that Brady has had.

It’s all political.
Tom Brady once had a MAGA hat in his locker in 2016 and the media is now trying to undermine his greatness.
They started by saying Kaepernick got shunned because of his beliefs but not Brady (because he’s white).
Now, after that didn’t work. They are trying to say Mahomes is better...
