Remake of the 1977 film, this stars Jim Carrey and Tea Leoni in a silly but great comedy. It was a huge box office success despite generally negative reviews.

I don't think it is as bad as some people do, but I don't like it either. Very average.
It is a mildly amusing comedy that is made more watchable by Jim Carrey. I remember laughing once in a while, but the script just isn't good.
I haven't seen the original.

I think this was a comedy that had a $100 million budget.

Sorry about that, I tried to use the Search feature but it must not have worked right.

Sorry about that, I tried to use the Search feature but it must not have worked right. No need to apologize. It happens to me all the time. And apparently to others as well. It's something about the site.

I think this is one of Carrey's better movies. A lot of good satire. It came out just before the Great Recession that began America's current creeping malcontent with the "Establishment." He and Leoni compliment each others comedy style. Richard Jenkins are hilarious as the drunk, guilt ridden former executive.
