Rarely have I watched a movie that tapped into my emotions as effectively as The Father. A deeply sad and unsettling movie about a man with dementia.
Never has a movie about these themes been so visceral and devastating to me personally.
Anthony Hopkins gives what is easily his best performance since Nixon.
