Both are very similar in premise, but did very different box office.
Which one did you like better?

Green Room is one of the top films of the year in my opinion. I guess I thought they were similar because in both movies there are kids trapped inside a room/building fearing for their lives as a crazy ass old dude tries to kill them?

Since I have not seen Green Room, I'll go with Don't Breathe. Green Room is actually streaming on Amazon Prime right now. It was recommended to me by a friend, and it happened to be on Prime.

Without a doubt Green Room, in fact, IMO Green Room is easily one of the best horror movies released in the last few years. Whereas comes across Don't Breathe as rather generic and forgettable for me.

I've never seen Green Room, but felt Don't Breathe was obscenely overrated.

Couldn't get into Green Room (the door was locked, heh heh). Found Don't Breathe to be very overrated.

Green Room for sure. I liked them both, but Green Room was far more inventive and original and didn't fall into the trap of exploitation and horse out nonsense, and hard to believe plot developments. Don't Breathe was well made, but especially toward the end, the late developments felt a bit absurd and overblown in order to keep us on the side of the protagonist. Green Room was content with dealing with it's characters in their situation without getting too silly, and still satisfied all of its exploitative and genre needs. It was also quite stylish with relying solely on that, and it paid off a lot more interestingly.
Both are good, but Green Room is well above average.

I love Green Room, I saw Don't Breathe and didn't like it. I'd be willing to watch it again though.

Hard decision, but I think I prefer Green Room. The violence in that movie is BR00TAL! Some of the most cringe-inducing violence I’ve ever seen.

Truly didn't get the hype with Green Room. The characters were complete dumbasses, and Picard was hilariously miscast as a Neo-Nazi. I found Don't Breathe an entertaining role reversal of Wait Until Dark. And Lang was awesome in it.
