So I checked out the newest Bruce Willis films Breach and Hard Kill. Well...damn. I dont know what happened to Bruce Willis but he cant be in that bad of shape where he needs these quick checks. At least Nicolas Cage had tax issues. But I guess the jokes on me since Im the one who paid to see them. So lets look at these newest Willis films. BreachWell the one positive thing I can say about this film is that Bruce is much more lively here. Many of these direct to DVD Willis films hes not exactly giving his best performances but the performance is not too shabby. He shows more emotion here. The film however is not good. It reminded me of Doom from 2005. Its basically mutant zombies in space. The effects are not too good. the weapons looked like toys. It resembles more of a Asylum film if anything. Its a lame space action thriller that is watchable at the very best. 3/10
Hard Kill
This one is just crap. Along with North its the worst film in the Bruce Willis filmography. Its a film shot at a where house where the good guys shoot and the bad guys shoot back. Thats really most of what happens. I can enjoy simple shoot 'em up action films but this one is very dull. Just a very lame, cheap and very generic action film that happens to have Bruce Willis in some scenes. I guess they wanted another Willis film with the word Hard in it. 2/10Anyone see these films?

Hard Kill was dogshit and on many occasions you could see a fatter headed stuntman for Bruce Willis even in back of the head outside walking scenes too, was it really that fucking cold? The film was a good advert for Arctic wear for Bruce but that's about it Jesse Metcalfe was okay and hasn't "hard kill" as a title been used for several other action movies before?

Thanks for the warning Damn, I actually had a slightly interest in at least checking up one of these films, but I guess I might as well just let that idea go by and instead spend my money and time on something else. Always sad to see former action stars go to waste, even if Willis has not exactly lighted up the screen, for a very long time now. I still kind of hope he might do a bit of the same routine as Nicolas Cage. Make lots of generic DTV/VOD releases, but every now and then show up at least once or twice, with a truly solid and pleasant surprise performance/movie. That is looking less and less likely for Willis these days. Bruce looks just sad and defeated, on both of these movie posters. As he well sure knows where it lies, and is not even trying to break through with a smirk or a little smile.

Damn, has Willis really ended up taking the same Steven Seagal stuntman delivery route? I always get a huge laugh, everytime you can clearly see a much smaller and skinnier "Seagal", run or walk out of a car or into a building in one of his far too many DTV/VOD films. As if Steven himself would die from a bit of "exercise" every now and then, and clearly does not bother moving his body, even for a few meters, and then needed someone else to step in and do the "extremely dangerous" stunt-scenes instead.

Even the titles are generic and forgettable. Is Willis really that hard up for cash?

Yes I recall seeing that. You can easily tell it was not Bruce. Another Willis film Reprisal did that as well.

The sad thing is I will most likely see that as well.
