AJ Dillon, the Packers second draft choice last year, did have some playing time, he played in 11 games and rushed for 242 yards last year and I expect him to get more of a role this year. I will never get why the Packers drafted Jordan Love in the first round last year, when drafting a receiver really could’ve helped them. If they let Jamal Williams go, then he could carve out that role. That's a good deal of money for Jones, though, to give Dillon too much of a role. Certainly he could cash in as a redzone back, though. Williams is certainly gone. They reportedly haven't even contacted his agent. Dillon when he played looked great. He started against the Titans and dominated. He seemed poised to take the load next year but I guess not. Lafleur has stated his offense "needs" 3 RBs but I still don't see why Jones was worth paying. Could just as easily draft a guy like Kenny Gainwell or Chubba Hubbard to take backup/change of pace work from Dillon.

Pats sign Johnu Smith to a 4 year-$50 million deal.
I always thought he was underutilized in Tennessee - - hopefully he can play a bigger role in New England (and the QB can get it to him).

This is a big signing for the Pats, they really needed a solid TE as they got no production at that position last season.

Pat's back it up with a Matt Judon signing: 4 years, $56 million. OLBs/Edge players signing quickly.

Eagles and Brandon Graham - contract extension
It's pretty much restructuring his deal - all this cap room we were supposed to have in 2022 in evaporating with restructured deals. What are you gonna do folks.

Joe Thuney signs big deal with the Chiefs. Lost two tackles but gained a guard.

We had a CB here years ago - Izel Jenkins
Nickname was toast
Mills was Jenkins v2.0
The infuriating thing? I've never seen a cockier player in my life who sucked so badly.
Constantly waving his finger in the air. An incomplete pass could have been underthrown/overthrown by the QB, WR could have just flat out dropped the ball, - here's Mills waving his finger in the air like he actually did something.
Guy was a clown
IMO - if you have a good secondary - he should be coming off the bench and be buried on the depth chart
Shows how weak our secondary has been for years and years

Chargers sign Center Corey Linsley 5 years $62.5 mill. Now the highest paid center in the league. He was great last year but a risky move for a 30 year old Center with back issues.

That franchise is cursed somehow, nobody stays healthy. They either get hurt on the field or their team doctor stabs them.

Bud Dupree signing with the Titans in one of the bigger moves so far. Great pickup for the Titans, they really needed a pass rusher, that was by far their weakest spot last season.

Every DB does this and it's the most obnoxious thing about the game today.
