Shows how weak our secondary has been for years and years
Every DB does this and it's the most obnoxious thing about the game today. Nowhere near the extent Jalen does
Enjoy him

Patriots spending spree cracks me up because it's an admission that Belichick has no idea how to build a roster. Brady isn't here to cover up for his failures anymore, so he has to go out and buy a bunch of players other teams were happy to be rid of. Isn't Agholor known for his drops? Though I guess he can't drop the ball if Newton can't even get it to him. Sounds like Mills sucks, but really he's a Patriots DB now, so he'd be getting shitty coaching regardless of his talent level. They overpaid for Judon and threw a bunch of money at a TE without anyone to throw the ball to him.
And I'd like to end the bullshit 'Patriots were down because they had more opt outs than anyone' narrative once and for all. Here's the list of guys that opted out:
S Patrick Chung (Anyone attribute the Pats success to this guy? Anyone? Not a bad player, not a standout) T Marcus Cannon (He's so important they just traded him) WR Marqise Lee (?) FB Danny Vitale (?) LB Dont'a Hightower (the biggest name on this list, though it needs to be pointed out the Patriots went to the Super Bowl in a season where he only played 5 games) TE Matt LaCosse (LOfuckingL. The team is better off without this scrub) OL Najee Toran (?) RB Brandon Bolden (I like Bolden. He's a versatile player who probably makes his biggest impact on special teams. But is he a key cog?! Have you as a football fan ever watched a Pats game and thought, "It's a good thing they have Bolden.")
So enough about the opt outs, Belichick just built a shitty roster and Brady was tired of being underpaid to carry this dumb shit of a head coach to the playoffs every year. Brady skipped town, the team fell apart (eight guys flat out quit before the season even started, that should tell you something) and the Patriots missed the playoffs for the first time since the last time Brady wasn't their starter. Now it's desperation time as notoriously stingy Belichick is suddenly throwing money at anyone and everyone to try to save face. He's still the shitty head coach he always was, so I fully expect another sub-.500 season up here.

Didn't they just use two third round picks on tight ends in last year's draft? I was excited for fantasy that the Pats got Smith - - but with Henry as well, neither are going to get many stats.

All Belichick ever had to do was not be an asshole and he'd still have Brady and Gronk-- and would've been a title contender the last two years. He chased Brady out of town and Gronk into early retirement-- only to watch them reconnect in TB and win another title. Meanwhile he's drafting and signing TEs left and right while trotting out a QB who can't throw the ball 8 yards. These moves are mind boggling. He's drafted 1 pro bowler the last 7 seasons-- punter Jake Bailey. No doubt Bailey benefitted from that putrid Patriots offense last season.

This guarantees an awesome third or fourth place finish in the NFC North. Jeez.. no Wilson is a huge bummer.

So the NFC North now has
Aaron Rodgers Kirk Cousins Jared Goff Andy Dalton
Eesh, that won't be an exciting division next year. Fitzpatrick could have at least made the Bears somewhat fun to watch.

Fitzpatrick will do what he does every year, look like Joe Montana the first half, Joe Harrington the 2nd half.

I see a lot of people ripping on the Patriots decision to sign both Smith and Henry at TE. Do they not remember the days of Gronk and the murderer? They can/do use 2 TE's. Plus, I think if Cam is the starter next season they will be run focused and in two TE sets a lot. Run the ball and play good defense and not turn it over. While not exciting it is a winning formula.

Probably. But damn it he can be fun to watch in both scenarios.

The Chicago "Bad News" Bears.
Will Andy Dalton be bad news for the NFC North?
Or bad news for Chicago?

I mean I'm sure he isn't fun to watch if he is playing for your team. However if its another team that is typically boring like the Bears, yeah I'd say he would make them a lot more fun to watch whether he is throwing 5 tds or 5 ints.

If he is such a mastermind, why is he taking now a complete u-turn by spending more money then in the last ten years combined? Newton is a QB without an arm, maybe he can deliver short passes and thus the fast WRs to run the needed yards, but we wnat hardly of a passing game that is worth the name. And why now and not when Brady asked for weapons?! I guess he still thinks QBs and wants to prove, that elite QBs are overrated and can be compensated with tactics. And Agholor's nick name is stone hands for some reason, but his last season wasn't that bad. One hit wonder, or a real weapon? If the Bills and Dolphins do not screw up, he will fail again to reach the play offs, but this time without any excuse. 7-9 - again.

He was just another piece in that endless "Bargain Bin Quarterback" parade in Buffalo from Jim Kelly to Josh Allen. QB's who weren't long term options, Drew Bledsoe, Doug Flutie, Kyle Orton, or guys who had potential and came cheap, Fitz, Trent Edwards, Tyrod Taylor, JP Losman, Nate Peterman.

Well, they made the playoffs last year. They have a good defense. If they only at least had a running game.
