Joe Rogan interviewed Pauly Shore about his films and stardom.
if you watch this clip, you’ll see Pauly Shore is such a narcissistic weirdo. And it’s cringe to see him crying about not being famous.
I love how Joe Rogan calls him out at the end of this clip. And Shore is so aloof he doesn’t even realize it. You can see Joe Rogan getting more and more frustrated with Shore. Then he says “10 Percent of Hollywood Actors are just these narcissistic weirdos.” And he’s talking about Pauly Shore. Lol
And man, I didn’t realize how much he is jealous of Adam Sandler. “These 25 and younger kids today don’t realize, it was me that started this type of comedy thing in the 1990s. Not Sandler.” Geez.

It would have helped if his movies didn't suck.
Encino Man is his only decent movie and that isn't a "Pauly Shore" movie.
I'm confused about what he thinks he started. Comedians had albums and dumb crappy movies before him.

Because I miss doing that. I’m not making movies like that anymore and he is.”

Joe Rogan actually calls him out on his whining at that part. "I miss going to the beach and smoking pot with my friends" Joe Rogan - "can't you still do that?" "Yeah, but I don't feel like it."

He had his shot, took it, and it didn't work out ultimately. I mean he's still around, but things aren't they were like when he was in his prime. Oh well. He should be grateful he even made it in the first place.

I got a totally different vibe from that interview. It's okay to have feelings and to be honest about them. And that's what Shore was doing. I don't think Rogan was calling him a narcissist at all.

Correct. Nobody is saying he doesn't have feelings and isn't being honest about them. It just comes off as pathetic self-pity and he IS making himself look more influential than he was. That is where the ego stroking comes in. I agree that he doesn't come off like a narcissist though. Those are my feelings and I am being honest about them.

At parts, yes. But what I find annoying is when he’s saying things like this. Shore: “I started it all at MTV. It was me.” Rogan: “You and Dennis Leary right.” Shore: “Yeah, I mean. He did a few little things. But I was HUGE! I was on billboards and in movies and doing the shows.” He does the same thing when taking about Adam Sandler. I’m thinking, “Bro, you were never as big as Adam Sandler. I lived in the 90s. Weasel was popular for like a minute. Urkel was more popular than weasel.

This no-talent ass clown is lucky he ever had a career. Plus he got to bang Jillian Grace, a Playboy centerfold. So methinks he needs to STFU and be grateful anybody still wants to talk to his dumb ass.

He needs to make a movie with someone like David O. Russell or Woody Allen or PTA. Something a little more dramatic than what we'd expect of Pauly Shore.

You know the funny thing is a certain other 90s man-child actor that also used to be on MTV managed to make a highly successful career making bad comedies (I think his name was Sadam Andler or something).

Those Tyler Perry Madea movies are utter garbage yet they are really popular and made Perry a big star. It's all upto what the audience likes.
