Adam Sandler was on MTV? I don't remember that. He used to be on "Remote Control" Never heard of that. That looks to have before my time. I was 7 years old when that show ended. Would he have had a successful movie career if not for SNL though?

Probalby not. Though most former SNL alumnis can't seem to make in the movie business (Dana Carvey comes to mind)

He needs to make a movie with someone like David O. Russell or Woody Allen or PTA. Something a little more dramatic than what we'd expect of Pauly Shore. I think he could give deep into his dark depressed side and pull out a coherent performance. Right? Go the Adam Sandler route instead of feeling sorry for himself.

Most of his movies weren't and aren't good, but I watch them because I am a fan of him. Though his movies got progressively worse for the most part. Dana Carvey should have had a successful movie career and I am not sure why he didn't take. Pauly shore played the same annoying character in every movie. That is the same reason why people like Chris Kattan didn't have a career. Of course you can say that Adam Sandler played annoying characters too, but at least he played different types of annoying characters.

Adam Sandler is able to do it because he was very popular when he first did it in Punch-Drunk Love and is still famous now.

Maybe they can do a “Wayne’s World 3” like Bill and Ted 3. It can’t be worse.
