Described as a spin on the courtroom drama that centers on a robot companion that kills its owner and pleads not guilty. Drew Pearce (Iron Man 3; Hotel Artemis) is writing it.

Ehhh perhaps in for Pugh but with a better writer... Hey, even bad writers get a lucky break. Akiva Goldsman won an Oscar for A Beautiful Mind after writing Batman & Robin.

I thought it would be about sheep cloning.
There was a sci-fi show many years ago-a short film about a robot designed for medical experiments--the robot was basically a human but intended to be cut open for medical experiments. I am thinking--Jesus Christ, is this really worthwhile for a sci-fi story? Real life vivisection is worthwhile for a story--not something so far-fetched and stupid as that. Why on earth would they make a robot for medical experiments that looked 100% human?
It's like anthropocentric wanking.
And correct me if I am wrong but wasn't there an Outer Limits about a robot in courtroom?
