A beautifully animated film by Nora Twomey set in Afghanistan during the time of the Taliban. Although I wasn’t that taken with the storytelling sequences they eventually combined with the main narrative to create an emotional conclusion.

Only saw it once but it was really good. I always hope more people watch and support films like this, there's more to animated films than just the CG giants. I get tired of hearing how "2D animation is dead" when at least a couple of them if not a few come out every year still.

There are always going to be people who stick to traditional animation (while using CG to enhance the work) so it will never die out.

It’s the people that make the complaints that need to learn that.
