Back in November Liverpool thumped Leicester 3-0 at Anfield and were second in the table to Tottenham on goal difference, thanks mainly to the 2-7 battering from Aston Villa five games earlier. Leicester were 4th and current leaders Man City were 13th, 8 points off Liverpool with one game in hand. Since then City have been unbeaten in all comps - league, FA/League Cup, Champions League, the lot.
Leicester can go to within four points of them with a win. Liverpool can reduce their gap to seven, though City will have two games in hand.
Fabinho is expected to be absent but Klopp has the options of new signing left- center-back Ben Davies and loanee centre-back Ozan Kabak.
Leicester 13/5 Liverpool 1/1

Klopp starts Kabak but leaves out ex-Preston man Ben Davies for now. Allison retains his place. Amartey comes in for the unfortunate Justin who is out for the rest of Leicester's season after injury in the last game. It's two cracking-looking line-ups, you have to say. Thank god Mike Dean isn't around this weekend and Anthony Taylor will take charge of this one.
Leicester: Schmeichel, Amartey, Evans, Soyuncu, Ricardo Pereira, Tielemans, Ndidi, Albrighton, Maddison, Barnes, Vardy.
Subs: Ward, Iheanacho, Perez, Under, Choudhury, Mendy, Fuchs, Thomas, Daley-Campbell.
Liverpool: Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Kabak, Henderson, Robertson, Milner, Wijnaldum, Jones, Salah, Firmino, Mane.
Subs: Thiago, Adrian, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Tsimikas, Shaqiri, Rhys Williams, Phillips, Clarkson, Neco Williams.

Well, there's another injury for Klopp as James Milner hobbles off. On comes Thiago in this most lively of opening portions.

Liverpool averaging a corner every 4 minutes, something's got to give.

A good first half with the away side governing possession, shots on target and, by far, corners. For all that, Vardy has come closest, assaulting the woodwork just before the break.

I go for the club from the city with too many letters in its name. Or her name?
Klopp needs to accept the new reality: Bayern Munich and the German National team are his next destinations.

Liverpool into double figured corners but attacks have levelled off in intensity.
But not for long. After Arnold struck the bar earlier, Salah now recieves it from Firmino and sends it wide of Schmeical for nothing-one on '67. Tielemans attempted cross in the build-up was poor and Firmino worked well to feed Salah. Take that.

Penalty to Leicester on '76, is it? Thiago on Barnes but it's as close to the line as possible. VAR. It's a free-kick on the edge of the box. Maddison strikes - goal! No, offside Amartey, impeding Allison. It's disallowed. No, it's been given. Amartey didn't touch it or he was played onside by a Liverpool boot and a...I don't know, I give up. It's one-all at any rate.

And book Vardy for that ridiculous goal celebration.

Dear oh dear. Allison tears out of his nest, collides with Kabak leaving Vardy to pick it up and finish. Allison has done it again. The ball was going to Kabak - until Allison involved himself. It's 2-1. Absurd.

Here's Barnes, he's through, he only has to roll it past Allison who is never going to stop him. It's 3-1. Liverpool have collapsed. Are they shaken or stirred? It looks like both.
