Yeah. Great Film...
First saw it on Cable TV in the 80s... And I now have it on DVD.
"Snoowoowoowoopy"
"Me And You, A Two Man Crew..."
"NO DOGS ALLOWED!"

I've seen it but have a peculiar lack of recollection. I remember the beach scenes with Peppermint Patty after reviewing some clips and the No Dogs Allowed signs. I guess I'll have to watch it again.

I've seen parts of it but don't know if I've ever seen the whole thing.

Not Bambi?
Seen the joke about Disney being a serial killer of parents. I remember s trivia question on which Disney Princesses have both parents

This is my favorite animated film of 1972 though that's not necessarily saying much given how weak that year is for animation. Still though, I love all Peanut's product, so much joy, intelligence, and consistency. There are better Peanuts films, but this one is still quite good. I can't say I've cried during it though and I am a notorious cry baby during many an animated film.

I think the haunting part for me was the fact that Snoopy left Charlie Brown on a secret mission and the idea of a puppy farm. That bothered me. I was thinking--wait a minute, what's this custom of taking the dogs from their parents and siblings? That was the big learning thing--to realize that dogs were being bred for sale.

It's terribly sad, but easily one of my favorite Charlie Brown cartoons.

I never saw this, does Snoopy die? (I had to be removed from the theatre when I was taken to see Bambi-I howled too loud, not a big of a lot of Disney - will never watch Old Yeller again o/t if Old Yeller had rabies, wouldn't her pups also have rabies?)

Snoopy doesn't die but: the girl with cancer does
