I could maybe get behind that, especially if it gets us a new John Carpenter score like the 2018 Halloween. I do think The Fog is pretty underrated among his work. I never did see that remake they did, was it worth a damn at all?

I can see why, but unpopular opinion, I find it watchable, but not a patch on the original, which I love. Not sure how a sequel would work? The ghosts have been avenged, and gone to their eternal rest. The tale is over.

Maybe it can star Kurt Russell or something.

I never did see that remake they did, was it worth a damn at all? For me some of the cast works... Tom Welling and his Skipper friend are likeable. Selma Blair (she's no Adrienne Barbeau) still likeable. Enjoyed her banter with Dan the Weatherman. Maggie Grace is the weak link for me... It basically becomes her movie halfway through. Complete with detailed flashbacks to the doomed Elizabeth Dane Ship. (When we got that perfect atmospheric Ghost story from the o.g.) We have alot of brash cgi Ghosts and effects going on... But not alot of creepy atmosphere. Sure... It's an easy way to kill 90 minutes. But as others have said it's like consuming a sloppy Cheeseburger compared to the original. (Or should I say Stomach pounder?)

The sequel could be that this certain rich guy/media personality known for casinos and real estate has bought some gold which it turns out belonged to Blake and he's coming for it.
