Can we just agree the show at its current state is a shell/parody of what it used to be? First few seasons kicked ass, they're still the go-to when it's on TV all day. Elliot and Munch rule, the show died by inches when they left.
It is funny though to watch the first season now, and see all the stuff Olivia and Elliot let slide that today SJW champion of the rape victims Olivia Benson would lead a lynch mob over.
Wrong is Right, a teenage boy they're talking to smacks a random girl's ass in plain view of both cops, nothing.
Wanderlust, Olivia takes the side of a known pedophile when he says he didn't rape a teenage girl.
Disrobed, a woman is beaten, battered and brutalized by her psychotic husband, has to have sex with the judge who decides if he gets parole, lets the bastard out anyway, she shoots him, and while she's not convicted of it, what she did is so heinous that Elliot and Olivia tell her when her husband comes to kill her, there won't be a patrolman posted outside watching and she can call 911 but they'll be too busy to respond.
