You have two separate lasagnas in two different pans. You take them out of the pans and stack them. How many lasagnas are there?

Was this lifted from a Garfield comic strip?

To make a tiered cake, you'd stack individual cakes to make what is considered to be one cake. Do lasagnas work the same way? I said they do, but I have no conviction about it.

Was this lifted from a Garfield comic strip? Rooster Teeth podcast. How they came up with it idk. Found it to be an interesting topic as it caused quite the debate online.

Imo its 1 lasagna because it is a layered dish. It only has a beginning but no definitive end as you could continue to stack it. However many others feel differently when they try and factor in noodle/cheese ratios.

Trick question, itโs lasagnes. I honestly had no clue how to spell it in plural form. Expected my phone to do it for me and it didn't so I just added the s.

One I guess. But its a question similar to what came first, the chicken or the egg? I've already solved the chicken and egg puzzle but this lasagna question is daunting for sure. hahah

Trick question, itโs lasagnes. Oops, I hadnโt realised you spelled it lasagna in the US. In the UK, itโs lasagne. So, presumably, lasagnas is the correct plural where you are.
