I loved that movie, we recorded it and Bon Voyage Charlie Brown (and Don't Come Back!) off USA during a Mother's Day marathon many many years ago, so I always had to watch the two of them together.

Fun film. It was a nice change of pace from the other Peanuts films which are about more normal life. It was interesting to see all the sabotage in the raft race.

My second favorite of the four Peanuts movies. Bon Voyage is my favorite.
I like A Boy Named Charlie Brown and Snoopy Come Home but they're not exactly lighthearted feel good animated movies.
Neither is Wizards one of my all time favorite animated movies but with the Peanuts kids I prefer their less mature/heavy stuff.
I had a video guide book that called Race 'a regression from the previous movies to the usual Saturday morning pap of Hanah Barbera.'

This is actually probably my least favorite of the full length Peanuts movies. It's still enjoyable but I've always found it to the most cliche and least unique of them. It feels like a movie that could have been done with any cartoons, not something really built around the Peanuts characters.

I love this movie. Up until the girls and boys band together. Then it lulls a bit. I always lost interest at that part as a kid.
I went back and watched it with my son and I noticed he was fully engaged until that part too. When it’s snowy in July? Etc... but the ending is strong.
