The guy should have been fired 3 years ago when all the sexual misconduct allegations came out. This is 100% on Seattle. They rolled the dice and they failed. Good luck in trying to sign free agent's in the future.

Saw some footage of it and it's actually worse than I thought, the manipulation of service time and openly bragging about how they are overpaid on their TV contracts being really bad heading directly into the CBA negotiations and the stuff about the interpreter (and openly mentioning the one prospect having terrible English, out of nowhere) is just so stupid.
Jimmy in the video below is 100% right, if the Mariners don't have Logan Gilbert on the Opening Day roster after this, he should file a grievance for service time manipulation, and he'll win. What an asshole.

What an asshole. Yeah, this is typical boys club in professional sports. Considering who this speech was to doesn't make sense. He gained nothing from doing it and was only him "bragging." The only way he even says any of this is because he's totally comfortable with everything he's saying. Not only is he comfortable with his own words he's comfortable because the organization thinks along the same lines. For them to say they're shocked by his comments is ludicrous. They're only shocked because he said it to a group of other people and didn't keep their thoughts behind closed doors.
