Bond girls are fictionalised pretty girls thrown into unlikely situations caused or involving James Bond they're not meant to be representative of the incredibly dull unremarkable women that have existed in your life nor were they ever written to be. You started replying to me in this thread not the other way around, get it right Jack. Are you Denise Richards?

anyways Keanu wasn't terrible in Dracula, and I think that set a precedent for the Devils Advocate which he was quite good in. He is amusingly bad in Dracula. He is decent in The Devil's Advocate. well just throw Channing Tatum into a serious courtroom drama and I think we will have this spot clinched.

I am glad to see others thought Parker Posey should have been Lois Lane! Courtney Cox would have been good for it in the 1990s.

To add some animation to this thread, I’ve got a couple.
Eddie Murphy as Mushu in Mulan. It could be argued the character shouldn’t have existed in the first place but it could have worked had they not just decided to shoe horn in a big celebrity just because.
Charlize Theron as Kubo’s Mother in Kubo and the Two Strings. A borderline terrible performance and her force just does not fit this character or movie at all.

Halle Berry as Storm. Should’ve been Iman Abdulmajid. David Bowie's wife? She looks like a man. I don't recall Storm having a fivehead in the comics either.

I don´t know who would´ve been better, but he wasn´t a good choice. I have no problem with a Millennial Lex. A Mark Zuckerberg type, with social awkwardness and a tech giant. That’s just 2021. If they wrote the character to fit his performance maybe, being odd he had that down but the points where Lex is meant to be manipulating and orchestrating the events of the film fall flat, his character does not present as a master mind or someone who could bend others to his will, he's to meh for that as the open manipulator, imo it would have worked more had they had him use proxies to do those jobs for him and him as the weirdo billionaire simply paid them to do so or gave them something elaborate of their choosing only he could create and provide, as a means of showcasing his intellect, then have him showcase his awkwardness and lack of social skills all over again. You know right a Lex Eisenberg could play, rather than just inject typical Eisenberg traits into the typical Lex Luther character.

Justin Chatwin as Goku. Again this is one of those casting choices that just makes you go HUH? I feel sorry for him because I heard he actually did read and watch all of Dragonball to prepare for the role as Goku so I applaud him for that honestly. Truth is though he didn’t even match the physicality of Goku. He looked silly. I don’t know who would have been a better Goku. If you don't mind them making Goku white which you know he's not human he doesn't need to be the same race as his Grandpa you could have in hindsight had the likes of Chris Hemsworth, he's shown as Thor he can play the buff hunk and loveable goof which is pretty much Goku to a T, he would just need to die his hair is all. But then the casting of that movie was the least of it's problems...god that was a pile of crap.

Halle Berry as Storm. Should’ve been Iman Abdulmajid. That's funny because that is what I thought too when it came out.
I thought Jurgen Prochnow should have been Magento but I got to like McKellan eventually.
Hugh Jackman is nothing like the Logan of the comics but in that case I think it was smart decision because he's a leading man type, and they decided to make Logan the focus.
I think he ended up being the most interesting character. Likewise, Anna Paquin was all wrong for Rogue but it worked for what they were doing. But then I am no X-men fan so I didn't care what they did-it's very different from the comic I can see.
Marsden was too young and dull for Cyclops.

Iman looks like a man and she's not attractive in anyway.

Iman looks like a man and she's not attractive in anyway. But she does look like the comic book character more than Berry does.
I dont know if she had a nose job like Berry did.
What a different career path she would have had without that nose job. Same for Sharon Stone, Salma Hayek... poor Jennifer Grey. Her nose job was career suicide.

No she doesn't look like the character. She's African and black like the character but that's not the same thing.

You know right a Lex Eisenberg could play, rather than just inject typical Eisenberg traits into the typical Lex Luther character. That’s the point. He made Lex have a secret identity. This man you see is the “mask”. He wants to look unassuming and everything he does awkwardly is intentional. Notice during the scene at his “charity banquet” he purposely misquotes Greek mythology because Wonder Woman is in the crowd. She rolls her eyes and dismisses him as a “non-threatening buffoon” then he smirks. He purposely pits Clark and Bruce against each other as he says “you do not want to pick a fight with this person.” So that later, Lex can manipulate, plot and scheme without being a suspect or anyone noticing.
