I'm not at all surprised by this. Disney does nothing but pander to children. And yet they're a billion dollar juggernaut, so they must be on to something.

Blade always seemed like an odd choice for a big Disney franchise like the MCU. Maybe they’re banking on a crossover with that Morbius movie in the future.

I'd rather a Midnight Sons movie...without Morbius. Disney already own Doctor Strange, Hellstrom, Ghost Rider and Werewolf by Night and other members. Why get into another copyright sharing scenario.

Meh. All of the MCU movies are PG-13 and it's not had any impact on their quality. We already have the old adult-oriented Blade movies from years ago. The world can embrace a slightly less visceral version of the character.
