Wonder how accurately this will portray Garvey; he was seen as more than a bit of a buffoon and charlatan by much of the 'establishment' Black press of the time, and it'll be interesting to see if the film is honest in dealing with that.

This is excellent casting. However, I find it a bit underwhelming they are portraying yet another interesting but controversial black leader through the prism of the FBI.

Well the source material is literally titled The Rise and Fall of Marcus Garvey so who knows, maybe it'll include his deportation.
