My first Doctor Who was "The Androids of Tara" the third of five serialized stories from Season 16, the middle story of the first full season arc story line in the show's history. Sounds hard to get into, right? Not at all. 10 seconds of Tom Baker as the Doctor and I was hooked for life. BTW, this was in 1983.  |

I have with a few series. It's usually the reality TV kind though as I figure by seasons 3 or 4 they should have figured everything out to make it better. One was The Great British Bake-Off; I started from S3 and liked it so much I went and watched the first two seasons. Same with Home Town.

"Eastenders" when it was shown on PBS.... But it's been on for ages. Since the 80's.
Last season I watched was from 2008... They always showed "Eastenders" several years behind on PBS.
Not sure if they still play it. I don't have a DVR anymore.

I think the shorter list would be shows you actually watched from day 1.
First one to come to mind is Chicago Fire, we watched PD from the start because we love cop shows, but we didn't start watching Fire until Dawson was pregnant, and that was just because we were tired of not knowing who these guys are in the crossovers.
Law & Order SVU, I don't know what season it was, I remember it was the one with an underaged girl who was raped at a night club and this psycho preppy boy killed her.
Law & Order regular, the MySpace episode from season what, 17?

Yes. I actually recommend it with most comedy shows because they usually take a while to warm up. I started Curb Your Enthusiasm in season one, found it hard to get into- skipped to season six and instantly loved it. Then went back and watched older ones.
