Hey yall. Remember Uwe Boll? Hes the director who was pretty much captioned as the worlds worst film maker. I didnt think he was too bad until I saw that crowd funder video of him whining about not getting the money he wanted and told everyone "Fuck You All". I seen a bunch of his films. Granted he has his share of stinkers but some of his work is not too bad really.
So this is my opinion of his 5 best and 5 worst films.
5 Best:
1. Bailout: The Age of Greed aka Attack on Wall Street - 7/10
I was into this one. Its about a guy who looses everything with the bad economy and his wife having cancer. He goes mad and becomes mad with rage and goes on a killing spree. I liked it.
2. Darfur - 7/10
Ron Howard actually gave support for this film as he really liked it. Got to give credit where its due this film showed the horrors of Darfur and the genocides that go down there. It made me feel sad. It worked for me.
3. Rampage - 6/10
With a 6.2 on IMDB its Uwe Bolls highest rated film. Its pretty well done. Its a basic plot of a young man who goes on a one day murder spree. Its disturbing stuff. I think he cared a lot more here.
4. Heart of America - 6/10
This one is like Gus Van Sant's Elephant. Its a drama that leads up to a school shooting. Its a decent drama.
5. Rampage: Capital Punishment - 6/10
Follow up to rampage is redundant but has some good dialog and good acting. There is a part 3 but that one is not as good.
5 Worst:
5. Tunnel Rats - 3/10
Interesting enough story is just a generic forgettable war film.
4. In the Name of the King: Two Worlds - 3/10
Yawn. The first In the Name of the King I found at least watchable but this one is just a waste of resources.
3. BloodRayne II: Deliverance - 3/10
Boring by the numbers video game film.
2. Auschwitz - 3/10
Really lame film just shows murders at Auschwitz. No real story here just people being put to death with interviews bookmarking the film. I get what he was trying to do here but it seems pointless.
1. Seed - 2/10
I will give it credit for being effectively disturbing but damn this movie is crap. Its about a crazy serial killer who tortures and kills. Its boring really but the thing that got to me is that one scene shows actual tortured animals from PETAs website! I dont want to see that!
