Also known simply as "The Final Conflict".

Was hoping this would also be listed on Disney+. Alas, they just have the 2006 remake and the first two films.

To think at that time you could make a film where a dog appears in a window and convinces a woman to put a hot iron on her baby's face.

Weaker than Omen II, but I still liked it. Barely, anyway. Sam Neill was quite effective.

Gotta admire that the Antichrist has an entire room with nothing but a Jesus statue in it so that he can taunt him with long monologues.
The Antichrist destroying squad is comprised of the wimpiest and stupidest priests ever. One of them is terrified of a bunch of droopy beagles, basset hounds and retrievers and prefers to die instead of just walking past them.

Dull! For a final wrap up, they failed to make it interesting, scary or suspenseful.

I took a blu Ray DVD back to the store today to get a refund. The original Fright Night - 85’. I have on standard DVD and was looking forward to it on blu Ray. The film opens as it should 2.35:1. Scope ratio and after the opening credits opened out to full screen 1.77.1 cropping the sides. I wasn’t happy. I even emailed the Australian distributor Shock, asking why this happened. I don’t expect a reply.

They obviously aren't respecting the artistic integrity of how the makers wanted the film to look and many casual viewers just don't like, or get the letterboxing thing and would rather watch a missing/cropped image. They need the extra space filled for some reason.
Netflix at least makes makes movies and t.v series in a variety of ratios. If they stream older films, would you know if Netflix are keeping the intended scope ratios intact?

It’s just okay. I’m more confused by the timeline presented here. It’s mentioned Damien is 32 and plans to run for senate in ‘84. It’s also mentioned he took over his uncle’s company in ‘71. Did the events of the first film take place in the 1950s?
