After seeing a clip of an interview with Lauren Cohan on Conan, I wondered how TWD was doing in viewership these days. I stoped watching after Season 8, and feel like I've barely heard anything about the show in the pop culture ether. I thought viewership must be down, and well...I was right.
[Note: The numbers for Season 10 are only for the first 17 of 22 planned episodes. Averages were calculated based on the episode viewership figures found on Wikipedia.]
Season 1: 5.2m Season 2: 6.9m Season 3: 10.7m Season 4: 13.3m Season 5: 14.3m Season 6: 13.1m Season 7: 11.3m Season 8: 7.8 Season 9: 4.9m Season 10: 3.3m
Edit: Damn, I just noticed the last post here was in October. That says a lot.
Update: With four more episodes gone, the Season 10 average has dropped to 3m, and the most recent episode is the first to drop below 2m.

Definitely says a lot. Can't say I'm shocked by those numbers, especially after Season 5.
