The numerous alleged sexual assaults that were covered up are especially disturbing. Several of the victims were members of the tennis team who were unaware their teammates had also been assaulted. The women reported the assaults which had to be embarrassing and traumatic on top of the horror of being assaulted and despite being told by LSU employees to trust the process nothing happened.  At least nine LSU football players have been reported to police for sexual misconduct and dating violence since coach Ed Orgeron took over the team in September 2016, records show. The university disciplined two of them, and one – former wide receiver Drake Davis – was not expelled until four months after he was convicted of physically abusing a former girlfriend.  It looks like no matter who assaults were reported to, the incidents were eventually buried nearly every  time.  In the cases where athletes were involved, 2 associate Athletic Directors were the scapegoats and one received suspension of 30 days and one 21 days.  Insanely enough, one was female and is the senior woman administrator of LSU athletics. Not sure if that makes it worse but it feels worse in my opinion.
