I figure Keanu Reeves has nothing left to prove by now, we had him at hello. Like martial artist Christian Slater, he was a legend by the time he'd completed 10 years of film, bringing 'River's Edge' (1986), 'Permanent Record' (1988), 'The Prince Of Pennsylvania' (1988), 'Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure' (1989), 'Point Break' (1991), 'My Own Private Idaho' (1991), 'Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey' (1991), 'Dracula' (1992), 'Even Cowgirls Get The Blues' (1993), 'Speed' (1994) and 'Johnny Mneomic' (1995) to audiences worldwide. Gotta hand it to him, the man is pure talent.

Reeves is one of those actors who knew his limitations and did roles accordingly. He may not be the best dramatic actor but he's on a whole other level when he does action and comedy.
He's of the greatest action stars of all time, IMO. Point Break, Speed, The Matrix, John Wick films. Even his other action movies like Street Kings and Constantine were decent.
And he seems to be a natural comedian with stuff like Parenthood, Bill and Ted 1 and 2 and The Replacements.
He has even given decent dramatic performances such as River's Edge, My Own Private Idaho, The Gift, The Devils Advocate and A Scanner Darkly.

No, I'm not one of the dudes he's dated, and no I don't want to go into too much detail on why I know this, but it's a poorly kept "Hollywood" secret that nobody exposes because Keanu is a very likeable and affable guy, he likes to keep to himself even as a celebrity, and it's not something he wants to reveal. I only mention it because it would only make him more liked as tolerance has increased, whereas before it could have jeopardized his career. I also don't expect anybody to believe me so it's not going to hurt him.

I would have thought "he's not hetero(sexual)" would mean the same thing and be less ambiguous. I assume you're only making claims about his sexuality, not his gender. He is cis-gender (was born and identifies as male)

He needs to prove he can stop mumbling in his films like an idiot. Matrix was good not because of Keanu but because of the effects that they drowned him in to make him look cool. He mumbles in the John Wick films too with a beard that to idiots screams "assassin".
