You can pick 3. I will only be focusing on the movies from Superman the movie and onward and I will not be including any of the Vertigo adaptations.

You missed Batman: Mask of the Phantasm, which is a theatrical feature film. I have chosen to leave out animated movies. Even the Killing Joke which did receive a theatrical release.

It's nothing against the animated movies. I just wanted to focus on the live action adaptations for this. I'll do a poll on the animated movies tomorrow if no one else beats me to it.

Where's Constantine?

I left the Vertigo adaptations out of the poll. Just sticking to the actual DC adaptations. I know Constantine started off as DC before being moved over to Vertigo and has since been reintergrated back into the DC brand. Still felt that version shouldn't be included as it was promoted as a vertigo brand. It even has a logo in the opening titles for Vertigo comics.

I love Watchmen. It doesn't get nearly enough praise, and it's one of the best things Zack Snyder has ever done.

Supermam: The Movie- despite being a tad dated, it's endearing all around.
The Dark Knight- landmark film in the comic book genre
Watchmen- made the once deemed "impossible" film, possible.

These are classics, going beyond genre limitations:
1. The Dark Knight & Batman '89, ex aequo - dark, gritty, the best a superhero movies can be 2. Watchmen - great story, innovatie and impressive characters, protagonists actually die, deliciously adult and violent 3. Superman - undisputed quality classic in picture and music
Honorable mention: 4. TDK Returns (Animated): geezer Bats runs amok, shocking, weird and memorable

The Dark Knight - the best cbm ever made Superman the movie - I watched this hundreds of times, still one of the best. watchmen - this comes really really close to actually translate a comic to cinema, not adapt, translate. even better if seen with the tales from the black freighter animation reinstated.

I will not be including any of the Vertigo adaptations. Shame. RED and The Losers are probably two of the better DC movies
