Lauren Jackson was a 3xWNBA MVP, 2x Champion and was part of the Australian team who won the 2006 World Championship. She's in.
Bill Russell was the first black man to coach a professional team in North America, so should already be in just for that. Throw in back to back championships and he's a lock.
Pierce is in. Bosh probably and Webber and Adelman maybe.

Marques Johnson's neck injury ended his career early, or he'd probably get in.

Pierce is a lock. NBA champion (2008) NBA Finals MVP (2008) 10× NBA All-Star (2002–2006, 2008–2012) All-NBA Second Team (2009) 3× All-NBA Third Team (2002, 2003, 2008) NBA All-Rookie First Team (1999) NBA Three-Point Contest champion (2010) (Ok this means nothing, but still) He led the league in total points in 2002. By 2017, he had the 4th most three pointers made, all time. In his prime he took over games and entire playoff series at will.

I do know that Paul Pierce is a Hall of Fame pooper
Did you folks know that Paul Pierce pooped his pants in the 2008 Finals and had a wheelchair come out and take him off the court so he wouldn't be humiliated?
Enjoy

This is the NBA, you don't need to be Michael Jordan. Pierce is definitely in, most likely even with the MLB standard.
With NBA standard, as long you are not sucks, you have a chance,
I actually think Tim Hardaway may have a better shot than one thinks. Very clutch player for a while. Weber and Bosh probably.
Bill Russell (as a coach) most likely being the first black coach as the above post said.
Being the NBA, they would definitely pick at least one woman. I don't know anything about the women on the list. At least one of them will be in.

Hits a GW as time expired-- but it left his hand .1 seconds too late. There's a part 2 for that as well. Of course, my favorite Pierce highlight of his final season:

Good points
Pierce to me is a slightly better version of Evan Turner
Evan was a cute lil player - did everything good but nothing terrific

This is why you have no credibility as a basketball fan. Just lifted these anecdotes from my Celtics thread. - He once went 21-21 from the free throw line in a ROAD playoff win at Indiana. Later in that series (which the Celtics would go on to win), he scored 21 3rd qtr points in a win - In a decisive game 5 in 2002 (remember when the 1st round of the playoffs was five games?), Pierce dropped 46 points including 8-10 from three in a Celtics blowout win over Philly. - In a regular season game in 2001, Pierce scored 46 points after halftime in an OT win in New Jersey. - Pierce scored 19 4th qtr points in a 21 point comeback win over New Jersey in the 2002 ECF. - Pierce dropped 41 on LeBron in a game 7 duel as the Celtics defeated the Cavs, sealed by Pierce diving for a loose ball and later making clutch free throws, on their way to the 2008 title - The infamous 'wheelchair incident' in game 1 of the 2008 Finals where Pierce was carted off after an apparent knee injury, only to return shortly thereafter and can 2 threes shortly after reentering the game en route to a Celtics win (and again, they went on to win the title that year) Get back to me when Evan Turner does anything like that.

He is one most clutch players I have seen. During the 00s, he is up there with Kobe in terms of being clutch.

I said Evan Turner was a good player
And Paul 'I pooped my pants' Pierce was a better player than him
Sheesh. I just can't speak too highly or highly enough of a Celtic player in your eyes - I guess I have to anoint all of them the greatest players to ever play the game

Sheesh. Saying Pierce is a 'slightly better version of Evan Turner' is a joke. And you're messing around, I get it. I'm just pointing out reality here.
