Except at best without TFA which was boosted by huge nostalgia not quality, then her SW movies break even overall, the profit is really coming from TFA, under her they have seen their merchandising sales cut in half, and it's JF and DF making them fat stacks with The Mandalorian not KK. As for the MCU making less than SW, yes barely, since the Disney purchase of the MCU including the distribution rights therefor making MCU movies all Disney releases, the 16 movies in question average a total of $1,142,527,040 in ticket sales each, SW on the other hand have averaged $1,184,977,968 per release over the 5 films, just barely 3% higher than the MCU despite the MCU outputting over 2 films per year on average in that time, where as from 2015-2019 SW averaged 1 film per year, oh then lets get into budgets shall we, taking the highest reported number for each movie the MCU averages a production budget of $216,687,500 per film whilst SW averages $280,400,000 per film, an increase of about 29.5%, so the average MCU in a simple break down is $1,142,527,040 - $216,687,500 = a plus of $925,839,540 for the MCU per film, whilst SW is $1,184,977,968 - $280,400,000 = a plus of $904,577,968 per film, making the MCU overal about a 2.3% better property than SW per film, and the MCU produces well over double the content than SW per year which means MCU = the better brand. So sorry to disappoint you, you boot licking sob, but what you say as per usual is bullshit. I'm sorry, I couldn't hear you over the billion dollars Rise of Skywalker made. (Yes, I know that doesn't make sense, but it made me laugh.) Also, Kathleen Kennedy is a producer on Mando, so every time you watch that show, she wins. For all that is holy, please get new material. We've been over this I don't know how many times already - The Rise of Skywalker making over a billion dollars is nothing to be happy about given the combination of production, marketing, and merchandising costs and that it reached that amount at a snail's pace. It's nothing to be proud about. And Kathleen Kennedy doesn't do much of anything with The Mandalorian, it's Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni's show.

The Rise of Skywalker was an end to a Saga that started in 1977 and it only made 1.074 billion. They had over 40 years of build up and the final film in the Saga just barely managed to hit a billion.
Avengers Endgame was the ending to the Infinity Stones Saga that started in 2008 and ended up being the highest grossing film for nearly two years (until Avatar took it back recently) with a 11 year build up.
The Star Wars brand is definitely hurt and the recent controversies definitely didn't help.
It's probably for the best for someone else to take over from Kennedy.

It doesn't matter at this point. I'll watch what I want (Rogue One, The Mandalorian) and discard the rest (Episode 7-9, Solo). Her being there or not doesn't matter anymore. She can't do anymore damage than she already has.

Star Wars already had its final film twice . That marketing will not fool anyone anymore.
