I found it to be a very funny movie, as was Spies Like Us. Not sure what one has to do with the other, but I really enjoyed Three Amigos. Honestly, one of Chevy Chase's most funny roles, a surprisingly honest and funny portrayal of how douchie he kind of really is. 8/10 John Landis directed both, Chevy Chase starred in both and they came out around the same time so I thought it was a valid comparison. Fair enough. I'd forgotten that Landis directed both. Truthfully, I like Three Amigos better, though it's been a long time since I've seen Spies Like Us. Probably should revisit at some point.

I haven’t seen Spies Like Us for ages. I recall enjoying it. Three Amigos is fun too. I came over a decade late to this film. As well as Coming To America. All 3 are entertaining and different.

I attempted to watch this and shut if off about an hour in. A tremendous disappointment considering all of the talent involved. And to think Landis directed it in between Spies Like Us and Coming to America, two comedies I thought were hysterical. On to The Terminator (1984)! I expect THE TERMINATOR is a much better film.

I don’t understand why people DON’T like this movie. I’ve always liked it. I caught on right away it was a spoof of Magnificent 7 which I thought was funny, but I also think this is everyone’s best performance!!! Chase looks like he’s having a blast and so does everyone else!!! I've never seen it and will never see it. I like Chevy Chase, am indifferent about Martin Short, but I absolutely despise Steve Martin.
