Perhaps not surprisingly, it's generally positive.

Why do they hate each other again? Are they still competing for Steve’s affections?

I don't mind the banter, I'm just still irritated that they made Bucky chatty instead of his more stoic Winter Soldier persona.

I believe they call it progression. When it's done this abruptly, it's called character inconsistency. Winter Soldier was released eight or more Marvel movies ago I think that's a reasonable amount of time to start becoming sane again. And it's been said that Winter Soldier is still experiencing mental health problems in this TV series anyway.

He even mentioned in Civil War that he remembered all his assassinations. You don't get rid of trauma like that in just 6 years or so.

Yes but thats with normal treatment, Bucky received treatment under the Wakandan health care system, and those fuckers can save your life by shoving a metal ball into your bullet hole, and possibly arsehole, but the long term benefits of vibranium suppositories is woefully lacking in research data.

Except he's already changed his attitude even before this ongoing treatment. You can come up with whatever excuses you want, in the end it's still character inconsistency which has been a pretty common weakness of the MCU films in the latter films especially since the Russo's took over the major team-up movies.

You seem hopelessly unaware of how rehabilitation works. Some people take to it better than others even in the real world so it has taken a young healthy man six years to recover from being brainwashed while still getting ongoing treatment, I don't find that difficult to believe. That's not an MCU weakness that's character development and actual reality.

I don't think you fully realize how difficult it is to overcome these.

Let me guess you've conveniently undertaken and passed with high distinctions years of psychology exams and essays while we've been having this conversation haven't you, Skaathar?

No, but both me and my wife come from military families and I've had first hand experience interacting with people with PTSD and shell shock who've tried to overcome them with therapy and psych sessions and all that jazz. It's not as easy to overcome as you might think. Now, what's your credentials? Have you conveniently undertaken and passed with high distinctions years of psychology exams and essays while we've been having this conversation?

The person who first resorts to ad-hominem attacks and name-calling is usually the one who is unable to come up with any further intellectual rebuttals to the argument. In other words, by calling me names you've just admitted that you lost this little debate of ours.
