In movies, shows, etc..
Can't these fucking producers hire someone who can write. Maybe someone who didn't go to some Ivy League humorless cunt school?

Why don`t you just write something for them. I mean if you are so much better than these writers.

Its not all on the writers. Producers, companies and Networks just like to play it safe and as long as their rehashed crap keeps making enough money they wont stop.

Studios want to make money what a surprise. Maybe twats instead of moaning should submit their "original works" to studios instead of ranting online but of course they never do.

Isn't this thread a remake of other threads on the same subject?

We all know that’s not how this works. There are literally THOUSANDS of indie writers out there who are infinitely better than the hacks in Hollywood right now. The writers in Hollywood are “Yes Men” who are told what to write and say. A narrative or agenda. Very few who actually write something that means anything because directors and producers don’t care about art anymore. The studios hire them to make money by checking off boxes.

They won't stop until the ticket buyers stop. There are plenty good writers for movies but they aren't the prime movers behind all these reboots and cookie-cutter alike superhero movies. The writers for them write to order. The 15-30 male demographic - and female companions - still pack the theaters (when they were open) and purchases all the blu-rays. They must be stopped!
Tired of all the sameness and repetition? Don't give them any money. That's all anyone can do.

I don't like them either, but just remember you don't have to watch them. That won't necessarily stop them, but at least you'll spare yourself.

Hollywood has transformed into the same kind of cultural model that the USSR had. They appoint apparatchiks to make propaganda. Whether the public wants it or not didn't matter. You either take their content or you seek underground media. While it seems to be coming from a capitalist direction, there's nothing rightwing or grass-roots about it. There's no competition--the only companies that are able to get any foothold for distribution--Blumhouse and the other smaller companies--are not deviating from the thematic directions of the corporations. They all follow the political correctness (to use a Soviet term). There's no way to change policy by not watching the content--it didn't matter in the USSR so why would matter to these giant corporations who get money kickbacks from taxpayers? They have said--they are more interested in appealing to China than they are in keeping the European focus of cinema. How can you attract a totally different audience without losing your base audience? Yet they don't care. The argument that it is what the people wants--makes as much sense as saying the public wants a leader with dementia. They don't, but that is forced on them without a choice. Corporate media despite the capitalist veneer takes its operational model from the USSR approach to culture. I.e. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Circus_(1936_film)

Sorry, but Hollywood is mandated to only hire out of UHC (University of Humorless Cunts).

It'll get to a point where they're just making the same film over and over, endlessly reworking it in the hope of making the "perfect" film that will appeal to everyone.
